We were more than stunned to realize that six of our 2017 Illustration Academy instructors were nominated for awards. Five of these outstanding artists received Silver and Gold medals. Not to mention, the title of Spectrum's Grandmaster was awarded to comic book legend, Bill Sienkiewicz.

The immersive illustration workshop will be led by Eisner Award-winning and Emmy nominated artist, Bill Sienkiewicz. In collaboration with Mr. Sienkiewicz, The Academy plans to extend their education platform in a manner that is flexible and accessible to artists around the world. It will be hosted at an artist studio in the West Bottoms (1212 W. 8th street, Kansas City, MO 64101). This will be the last figure drawing session that is open to the public before The Illustration Academy 2016 Summer Workshop. The 2016 Summer Workshop figure drawing sessions are hosted three days a week on the Rockhurst University campus. Only students attending single weeks or the full 5-week program of The Illustration Academy are permitted to attend. There is still time to enroll, so sign up before it's too late.
