We are excited to announce that The Illustration Academy is officially accepting payments through PayPal to attend the Summer 2016 Workshop. Students are now eligible to make their payments to attend The Illustration Academy from anywhere in the world using the tremendously popular service, Paypal! This means students can pay their tuition and housing and attend The Illustration Academy from almost anywhere in the world. The 2016 workshop is going to be one for the books. Over a dozen rockstar illustrators will be joining us this summer.
Affordable Housing Payments with PayPal
Students are also eligible to pay for their housing using Paypal. Our program is hosted on the Rockhurst University campus. This iconic location is within walking distance of the Nelson Atkins Museum, The Kemper Museum, the Country Club Plaza, Westport, and a number of other outstanding art venues.
Non-local students are highly encouraged to stay in Rockhurst incredibly affordable University's Townhouse Village Units. These apartment-style living spaces are furnished two-story apartments. These units are located on Rockhurst University's campus and include 24 hour surveilance by campus police. In addition, the Townhouse Village neighbors the student workshop and classrooms, which is where all of The Illustration Academy's activities and events will be hosted. Staying on campus is not only a tremendously cost-effective and accessible lodging solution, but it also allows students to fully enjoy and benefit from The Illustration Academy community that manifests during the program. About The Illustration Academy
The Illustration Academy is an immersive workshop offering five weeks of hands on instruction from top working professionals. In addition to our star-studded list of working instructors and mentors, the Illustration Academy is proud to list some of today’s most successful illustrators, game developers, and entertainment artists as former students.
The full time instructors in the KC studio will be John English, George Pratt, and Mark English. During the 5-week program, additional Academy instructors rotate on a weekly basis. All of the instructors are leading professionals in their respective industries and offer unique perspectives on visual storytelling.
