Online Lecture with Michael Bierek

Our good friends at BC Applied Arts (BCAA) are featuring the acclaimed illustrator, Michael Bierek  in BCAA's free, online lecture series, Illustration Industry. The lecture is scheduled for this Friday, April 15 at 2:00 pm CST. It is live, online, and open to the public! About Michael Bierek

Michael Bierek is an accomplished illustrator currently living in Montreal.  He spent a few years studying illustration and fine art in San Francisco during his early twenties before landing a job at Massive Black, where he spent three years as a concept artist. During this time, he also  began a working relationship with Wizards of the Coast for the card game Magic the Gathering, which he still illustrates for. He then moved to Montreal and worked as a concept artist for THQ on various projects, which he spent two years, before starting work at Ubisoft on the FarCry franchise. The better part of a year later, and he is again working for Massive Black as a concept artist.
