Vanesa Del Rey to Instruct at Summer Workshop

The Illustration Academy is proud to welcome comic book artist Vanesa Del Rey to instruct at the 2017 summer workshop. Del Rey is currently taking the comic world by storm, her imagery being featured by many of today's most prominent entities in the entertainment industry.

Cuban artist Vanesa R. Del Rey began her career doing concept art for animation. She is best known for her work on the Hit comic book series and The Empty Man published by Boom! Studios. She has also illustrated Scarlet Witch, Spider-Women Alpha, and Daredevil Annual (2016) for Marvel Comics.

Vanesa will be instructing during workshop 3 of The Illustration Academy summer session, which is scheduled for June 25 - July 2, 2017. She will be teaching alongside artists such as Sterling Hundley, Wesley Burt, John English, and George Pratt.
