John has 22 years experience working as a professional artist, Art Director, and builder of large complex creative projects. He has had creative involvement in such IP's as Swamp Thing, Judge Dredd, Star Trek, The Crow, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Warfare ,Sin, Heavy Metal,Reloaded, The Spectre, Forgotten Realms, Wrath & Skeller, Johnny Whatever, Tabula Rasa, Darksiders 2, and Warhammer 40,000 MMO, Dark Millennium.
Specialties: I am a traditionally trained painter, my roots are in illustration. I've been a lead texture artist, lead character modeller, and concept artitst. I love UI, and I think if I had to pick one thing I enjoy most its building environments. I've done every job in the pipeline with the exception of animation, and I've grown teams from small to large.
I really enjoy teaching and mentoring opportunities I've been fortunate enough to have been given. The most rewarding aspects of my career have been to helping others on their journey. This is a collaborative field and none of us succeed alone. The enemy of every developer is fear and doubt, and our greatest ally is collaboration.
